Membership is now due for 2022-2023 year. Please go to our membership page for details.
Since 1868, for 153 years, the Inverell Show Society has hosted the local show. The first show was held on the banks of the Macintyre River behind what is now Coles. In 1873 it was moved to Kamilaroi Park which is now a sporting oval.
Our current location, which we have enjoyed since 1914, is the Inverell Showground which is on the Tingha Road on the edge of town.
Come along and join us for our show in 2023.
See you there!
SAPPHIRE WIND FARM COMMUNITY FUND
Over the past few years, the Inverell Show Society has been very fortunate to receive support and funding from the Sapphire Wind Farm.
-
In 2018, they provided us with funding to entertain the crowds with the Rooftop Express.
-
In 2019, we were allocated grant money from the Sapphire Wind Farm Community Fund to upgrade our camp-draft facilities.
-
In 2021, we once again announce funding from the Sapphire Wind Farm in the form of a grant to provide an upgrade to the power in our cattle pavilions. This is allowing the Inverell Show Society to be more Covid safe and OHS compliant.
A special thank you to the Sapphire Wind Farm for their continued support of not only the Inverell Show Society but the Inverell Community as a whole.
